Checking the routes

We pre ran the route to Erinderia this weekend. Billdozer and myself invited Baja legend Ron Brant to come down and see what all the fuss was about. He brought his prerunner in tow. That sure made the pre run a blast. We covered the 65 mile round trip in just under three hours including quite a few stops to take in the fantastic scenery and enjoy a cold drink or two.
Normally in our 4 wheel drives this trip takes about twice as long.

We had to stop a few miles into the run to check this view. Breathtaking.
Sacrifice Point overview

We proceeded down to get a closer view. We found this interesting relic looks like it had been built many years ago.

But as with most things by the sea Mother ocean has a way of taking it back.

Around the bend was a nice secluded beach, great for a lunch break.

After exploring for a while we headed back up to the trail and made it to Erinderia and the infamous rock beach trail.

After a cold drink we strapped in and headed back to the Proving grounds for a great evening of steak tacos, camp fire, and some great stories of the days activites.
